Willamette University seeks candidates who can demonstrate excellence in undergraduate
teaching with broad teaching and research interests in the area of
Social Theory (classical, modern, and postmodern), and who have
significant secondary training in one or both of the following areas:
Crime & Deviance, and/or Environmental Sociology, approached through
a critical framework. Teaching responsibilities include five courses
annually. The candidate will offer some courses in her/his areas of
specialization along with providing support to the department’s core
curriculum and the general education program.
